PTFA
Make a Difference Today
Friends of Victoria Park Primary School - also known as the PTFA - aim to raise money, build the school community, and help enrich our children’s education. The PTFA is run completely by volunteers including parents and school staff. We run lots of exciting events each year, including school discos, parent socials, and the Summer and Winter fairs. As a registered charity, each year we raise thousands of pounds to pay for resources and enrichment activities that the school budget can’t fund, so that all the children have access to the best opportunities available. This includes theatre performances, play pods, forest school resources, "play in a week", school trips, and tablet computers.
Ways We Help
Meaningful Work. Unforgettable Experiences.
Supporting education
Engaging with our community
Victoria Park Primary is an inclusive and expressive school with a passion for the arts and practical learning. We spend the PTFA money raised on things that the school budget doesn't stretch to, in order that all the children have access to the best opportunities available. This may be a theatre performance, play pods, forest school resources, "play in a week", or school trips. Check out our Events page for more details.
Can anyone be part of the PTFA?
The PTFA are here to not only help fund activities but to also engage and connect with our diverse community. As a parent or teacher of the school you are automatically part of the PTFA and can join any of the meetings, events or grab us for a chat in the playground.
We're happy to hear ideas, discuss PTFA business and volunteering time or money can be as little as 1 hour at an event or a FREE donation simply by shopping online - see our ways to support us here. Alternatively, if you would like to take on a more committed role as part of the PTFA then we have plenty of room for all skill sets; or maybe you work for a socially responsible company who would like to get involved by way of a grant or volunteering staff? Drop us an email, PM us on social media or simply find one of our faces at school to chat to.
